Though the inspiration came from a classic design the performance remains intact. PGA Tour professional and Wilson Staff player DJ Trahan play-tested a prototype set in late 2007 and immediately put them into his bag. Since his switch DJ has earned a victory at the 2008 Bob Hope Classic as well as numerous top 10 finishes including a strong 4th place finish at the 2008 US Open. 59 Major Championships and Still CountingDesigned in the time-honoured tradition of forged clubs yet modernized for todays competitive and skilled player the Fg59 Irons feature a slightly wider sole and lower muscle back to drop the centre of gravity and improve ground interaction. Hard sole prevents skidding on harder fairways while mild camber and relief flange minimizes digging on softer fairways. Thin top line forged from mild carbon steel delivers maximum power soft and responsive feel. Minimal offset to improve workability and trajectory control. Sleek classic looks of original Fg17 Irons.
